Assemblies and presentations are tailored to the age of participants and needs of the specific group. They include many aspects including how the puppies are raised, the impact the dogs have on humans, the difference between service and therapy work as well as the future of these exceptional dogs. We have a wonderful group of therapy and service dog teams that join us making the visits fun, interactive, and informative for all involved.
HOW IT WORKS
We come to you with some skilled canines, we are fully insured to do so. We provide id for both handler and canine as well as their current insurance certificate. The dogs that participate in this work are certified for therapy work they have been thru extensive training and are savvy around all times of facilities and people. Some of the locations we have visited include but are not limited to churches, community centers, corporations, daycares, hospitals, public and private schools, office buildings, summer camps, universities and more. Presentations can be done for your full student body or specific grade levels, marching bands or choirs, athletic departments, municipalities, or parent teacher associations for example.

"From the moment I first encountered Melissa Saari and the Coldsprings group in the fall of 2017 I was impressed by the knowledge, passion and care given to the Coldsprings family, canines and humans alike. While going through the process of picking out a puppy, Melissa was thorough in her explanations of raising a puppy, and her expectations for us as dog parents. She was also incredibly helpful when I had questions about training after bringing Rex home.
Coldsprings Healing Paws also made numerous visits to the middle school where I teach, with their star dog, Sawyer, AKA Superman. My fifth grade students were alive with energy, positivity, and questions during each visit. Since becoming part of the Coldsprings family, one of my best friends, and my parents, have also joined the incredible family Coldsprings has created. Everyone has been equally impressed by the passion that exudes out of all members of Coldsprings Healing Paws. They are truly gifted and are making this world a better place, one dog at a time."
