It was Melissa’s long time dream to better lives one dog, visit or training session at a time. The ability to brighten the days for those who struggle is her passion. Together with a board of great people she founded ColdSprings Healing Paws, her non profit focused on healing people and dogs alike.

For the better part of a year I had been working on becoming a 501(c)3 known as ColdSprings Healing Paws Non-Profit. It is a two fold program focusing on the therapy world and service world for canines.
The mission is simple leave paw prints where ever you go, impact the weak, the sad, the lost, the lonely, the broken, aid and help those who can be touched by a dog in ways that humans cannot possible do.
To say that it's a life goal is an understatement. It's been a long process and I don't think I could have gotten here without the amazing support of my husband, family and the ColdSprings family.
Therapy work is a passion of mine and by making sure that handlers and dogs are trained appropriately to lead them to the most success has been my mission and now it will be on a much greater scale.
