Some examples are staff training, corporate meetings, assisted living, dentist offices, funerals, schools, children’s camps, after school programs, assemblies in your school district. Facility dogs are expertly trained dogs who partner with a facilitator working in a health care, visitation or education setting. Facility dogs are trustworthy in professional environments. Their training is designed to motivate and inspire clients with special needs. One of the most valued qualities of the facility dog is the unconditional love and attention it gives to the clients and patients with whom it interacts. In an educational setting, a facility dog helps engage students in schools and special education classes. In a health care environment, activities such as grooming, feeding and playing fetch with a facility dog can aid patients in medical rehabilitation and psychiatric programs. A highly trained facility dog encourages feelings of calm and security for clients in a visitation setting such as a courtroom, classroom, rehab center just to name a couple. The ColdSprings breeding program was established in 2004 with the goal of producing a healthy Labrador of sound body and mind. Every single dog in our program for 5 generations now has had every available health screening. Breeding adults are all put through our training program and temperament evaluations long before they are considered to be producers. Our dogs have excelled in the conformation show ring, agility, obedience, gun dog and hunting, and of course in therapy and service work. We believe in a dog that thinks and not reacts, that is of solid disposition no matter the environment. We stand behind them. If you are inquiring about pet or a pup please email Melissa at coldspringshealingpaws@gmail.com. Learn more about our Breeding program >> learn more <<
